LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The all-crime, all-the-time flavor of CBS' prime-time schedule is paying off this season, and the network has rewarded four of its new shows with full-season orders. "CSI: Miami," "Without a Trace" and "Hack" -- dramas about people who solve cases or otherwise help right wrongs -- have been picked up, along with the comedy "Still Standing," which has slid comfortably into the post-"Everybody Loves Raymond" spot on Monday nights. "CSI: Miami" is the most-watched new show of the season (19.5 million viewers a week), to almost no one's surprise. It's a spinoff of "CSI," the No. 1 show on TV, and has a sweet timeslot at 10 p.m. ET Mondays, following CBS' comedy block. As a result, it's more than doubled the adults 18-49 rating of "Family Law," which aired at 10 p.m. Mondays last season, and taken a sizable number of viewers from NBC's "Crossing Jordan," whose audiences have shrunk by about 3 million compared to this time last year. In contrast, "Hack" has been something of a surprise hit. It averages a little more than 11 million viewers at 9 p.m. ET Fridays, and its ratings for every demographic group CBS measures are up significantly from the time period last year. "Without a Trace" and "Still Standing" have both fit well into timeslots following CBS' two biggest shows -- "CSI" and "Raymond," respectively. "Trace" is averaging about 15.5 million viewers each week, the best performance CBS has ever had against NBC's "ER." "Still Standing," meanwhile, is in a virtual tie with NBC's "Good Morning Miami" as the top-rated new comedy of the season. CBS has yet to make a decision on its other new comedy, "Bram and Alice," which is pulling decent ratings on Sunday nights, or the dramas "Presidio Med" and "Robbery Homicide Division," both of which are struggling. |

Dorothy: You really haven't grasped the concept of this gay thing yet, have you? Blanche: There must be homosexuals who date women. Sophia: Yeah, they're called lesbians. JACOB |
