Has anybody on the boards seen this 80s movie called 'Somewhere in Time'? It has Jane Seymour and Chris Reeves in it. I thought it was a pretty good movie.
I was reading on amazon.com last night and I found out Richard Matheson wrote the story for it. I think that's what he did. I was kind of surprised he had a hand in the movie. It's a great movie, if you haven't seen it yet. I should've known someone from the TZ show had a hand in the movie because of the twist ending. |

Has anyone ever read the anthology by his son Richard Christian Matheson, Dystopia? Many of the stories will actually frighten (terrify?) people, they're so weird/surreal...one story even being told in sentences that all contained only one word. More than highly recommend it, if one's a fan of the truly bizarre.

Jenny, Somewhere in Time is one of my all time fav movies, its so sentimental to me. They play it up in Macinac Island alot, thats at the tip of Michigan, I think thats where it was filmed. I did not know RM wrote it, wow, no wonder .
Silver Dark, thanx for the info on his son, I will have to check him out if I get time ![]() Mr Z

Richard Matheson is a great science fiction/horror novelist who was a huge influence on Stephen King. Matheson's best novel is the vampire tale called I Am Legend (if you have not read this novel go to your favorite bookstore or library and pick it up). He wrote great episodes of both the original The Twilight Zone and the original Star Trek. Matheson also wrote the teleplay (based on one of his own stories) for the Steven Spielberg directed televison movie, Duel.
