Default Not Going Downhill!

Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion about a TV show, but what keeps
the show on the air is the overall viewing habits of their audience.
for the the age group of 18-39, "My Wife & Kids" was ABC highest rated
show for it's time slot for 3 out of 3 weeks since it Premiered this fall.
In fact, "My Wife & Kids" is ABC top show for their Network.

I happen to know this because I work on the camera crew and we were
given copies of the "overnites" (Nielsen Ratings).

Regardeless, who thinks or doesn't think the show is going downhill, to
the network they still believe they have a hit show...I do too.

The characters are weird-the father is goofy, the daughter is sluttie, the mom is a BLIMPO and The son is a nerd. This show is Sad. But for some reason, people love it.

People like it because (I think) that it's funny. I don't think the characters are weird- it's just different to standard sitcoms.

THe father character on this show acts more like a uncle. A father character can be funny without being silly
