The trailers for the new Adam Sandler movie "Punch Drunk Love" look good. I thought Boogie Nights was excellent and it's the same director Paul Thomas Anderson. It seems to be getting pretty good press.

It's being billed as a romantic comedy....

I've seen the preview 4 times and I think it looks AWFUL... same with Brown Sugar [even tho some parts of that look funny] and White Oleander looks too sad for me [these are the previews I've seen the past 4 times @ the movies]

***1/2 out of ****. Finally a film in which Adam Sandler doesn't play a person with an IQ of his shoe-size. Sandler is quite amazing here, and the chemsitry with his co-star is amazing. I hate Adam in comedies, but in drama his blows me away. See this film!

I've seen it 4 more times since I first replied here. The best romantic comedy in years!!! Just give Adam the Academy Award now!!!
