Default It's about time.

Geez, I thought Ray would have to pull a Jennifer Aniston and give birth just to get an Emmy. He's so under appreciated. I was also extremely happy for Brad and Doris. Those Emmys were well deserved and long overdue. I'm just still kinda let down that ELR didn't take home best comedy. But you can't win them all and there's always next year.

I agree.... Everyone was winning Emmy's and poor Raymond wasn't. I'm happy Brad Garrett and Doris Roberts won too....

I'm so happy that Brad Garrett and Ray Romano finally won Emmys. They really deserve them. They are such great guys. Doris deserved hers too. I can't believe that awful Friends took home "Best Series" when it should have gone to ELR. Patricia Heaton also deserved to win.

Finally the Emmy's are starting to wake up. I still think they should have taken home all the awards that they were nominated for, especially best comedy. I can't believe Friends got it, it's such a bad show. Brad Garret really deserved this award, and so did Ray and Doris Roberts. Everybody Loves Raymond is the best show and their finally geting the recognition that they deserve. Congragulations!!!

I agree about Friends, although I'm completely biased. I love ELR. But, I did give Friends a chance and it just didn't keep my attention. I thought comedies were supposed to be funny. And I think the only reason Jennifer won is because she's the "it" girl. Patricia should have won. I just hope that ELR will win next year. I still can't get over Ray winning. I think the reasons why are because 1.) Everyone was so hung up about the two Friends guys going up against each other they completely forgot about the other nominees in that category. and 2.) Ray was so convinced he'd never win that he also convinced me that he'd never win. Ugh, did anyone see the other nominees when they were announced? Kelsey Grammar was already prepared to get up to except, Matt LeBlanc *tried* to act humble, Matthew Perry looked like he already had won, Bernie Mac wasn't that bad...he looked like he was fanning himself with a booklet, like he didn't even care. But Ray looked so hopeless.... like a lost puppy dog. He and his wife looked so surprised. I'm happy for them. (Whoa, this post is long).

I think the only reason why Friends won was because this will be its final year. As for Patricia, she should win every year.

I know, I've tried watching Friends too when if first started and I just never found it funny. Here's hoping that the show follows through with its declaration that its the last season. Then Everybody Loves Raymond can finally have the spotlight that it has deserved since the 1996 "Pilot" episode.

I thought Ray's dialogue as a presenter was hysterical. (paraphrased) "I know I always say its great just being here... -- I gotta win this thing, man. I'm not kidding!"

It was sweet seeing Patti in tears over Ray's winning the emmy... they must be a really tight-knit cast!

I'm relieved to finally see I'm not the only one who doesn't like Friends. The way people talk about how popular it is, I had started to wonder, "Am I really obtuse?" because I couldn't find anything in it to laugh at, just a lot of gross talk that didn't make any sense.

I don't think Friends is the worst show I've ever seen. It's better than any ABC sitcom. But, everyone hypes it up to be so great and the funniest thing ever.
.........and it's not.
