Monica, hands down.
- back at 3:48 pm to explain why Well, the writing had gone to the dogs at that point and this introduction of Monica did not help. Her voice annoyed me and sounded forced. Then again with those lines and the general sense of "why bother" on the show at that point, there wasn't a heckuva lot. Second for me comes Raul. He was too perky and reminded me of Ricky Keith in I Love Lucy with that high decibel delivery. I'm surprised he didn't screech, "Oh Boy!!!" ------------------ It was late one night by the pale moonlight all the vegetables gave a spree. Raul was my least favorite because Chico(Freddie) was gone and could not be replaced. Raul just reminded me that Chico was dead and it made me sad. Raul was a cute kid and all but the producers should not have tried to replace Chico and say so little about why he was gone. They could have at least done an episode explaining that Chico had died and how. If i were a writer on that show i would have done an episode where Chico dies in a car accident or something and the rest of the cast is very upset and they sit around and talk about Chico and their fond memories of him.

You have to remember it was a different time. That's what would be done now but things were not so open then. At the time, I didn't like Raul's character either because it only underscored that my beloved Chico was gone. After watching the reruns as an adult, however, I think Gabriel Melgar was very talented. The kid had good comedic timing and was very cute. I wonder where he is now? We are the same age so he would be 36. God save us from that awful Monica! She was horrendous!! |

I never watched the shows after Freddie so I cannot tell you if i liked those charecters or not but on the other episodes my least favorite charecter was nurse nancy in the episode where Chico's date is interrupted by a terrible patient.
She was too weepy and she wasn't even a good crier at that and her acting seemed forced to me. |

My least favorite is the mail lady--I don't remember her name on the show... I don't know why I didn't like her; I guess it was because Chico seemed so annoyed with her during that big kiss!

My least favorite character was the so called nurse who came in to take care of Ed after his hernia operation. OOOO it just burns me whenever I see prejudiced people. I thought Chico and Della handled her very well and it was funny. I do like the episode, just not her!

I agree she was ridiculously shallow. That was Marilyn, and she would probably qualify as my least favorite--if not for that guy from the invention company who tried to rip off Ed and Chico when Ed made those motorcycle training wheels. And then there was Peggy's snobby son near the end of season 3. I looooved it when Chico went after him and said, "Let me knock LP on his flip side!" It was hard to realize Freddie was nearing his demise, when I watched him try to fight that jerk!

AMEN Luckymama!! This kind of behavior upsests me because it is unfair and hurtful. There was an episode where Ed is thinking about marrying someone and the lady's son comes in and speaks so harshly to Chico and makes some very nasty comments to him and about Ed. I was steamed. But "Our Prinze" straightened the guy right out. He was patient and good-natured at first. Then he got upset and told the guy, "Hey I listened to you and now you are going to listen to me."
