Default Great, Except For...

The mom is too upbeat and loose. It doesn't seem real. And she is too young for the guy.

The brother character is basically the same as Eddie on Grounded for Life, but the character is still funny.

I like the show, I laughed more than any other new shows. I hope the show can fix the minor problems it has and lasts for a good long time and makes it to syndication.

Yeah I have to agree.I didn't expect to like the show.It seemed boring but it turned out to be one of the BETTER new shows Right up there with 8 Simple Rules!) Yes the uncle is ALOT like Uncle Eddie and while I liked the mom she is a little too young for the dad.I liked that the show had a nice long theme song. That's always a plus! I personally compared the show to "The Hughleys" in the fact that's it's about a Minority family moving from a dumpy lifestyle to a "classy" Lifestyle.

If anybody's interested in catching episodes of this show, it's airing weekdays on SiTV, a digital cable channel targeted at a Latin American audience. I only saw a few eps when it aired on the WB, so I've been able to catch the ones I missed on this channel.

Unhappy

Just read on Pavan's blog about the death of Pablo Santos. That's a tragic story. Just a few weeks ago I saw a movie that he did on cable. I also noticed on imdb he was working on some projects. Sad.
