I must admit that the first 15 minutes of the show tonight did build up to an excellent story, but it fell short for me. I understood the ending of the first story, but when I did see the ending- I thought it was kind of a weak ending.
Story two was fair, but I wasn't feeling that one either. The original tz, I could feel the storyline if it gave me goosebumps. I just didn't feel the goosebumps with the new show. I am glad they paid tribute to Serling in the opening. How did everybody else like it? |

i did'nt like it.
in my opinion it does'nt hold a candle to the original. the only thing i liked about it was amber tamblyn as jenna! i loved amber tamblyn in general hospital. i look forword to seeing amber tamblyn in more projects. |

I didn't care for it. If you're going to replace/update/ or whatever it is they're trying ot do by briinging back TZ (most likely they're just trying to make some easy money) you have to go all out in the quality of writers and directors and so on. There needs to be a passion about the project - which there doesn't seem to be in this revised ecition.

The first episode was good but the ending left a lot to be desired. The second episode was dull and the only thing that lifts it is the ending. Jason Alexander's performance also left a lot to be desired, but it shouldn't be surprising, given his fame as a comedian.

I thought the second episode was really weak and you could see the ending coming from a mile away. None of those Seinfeld people have done bupkis since that show has ended. IMO
The first episode was kind of goofy but for some reason I liked it somewhat. Maybe it was the hot chick being controlled by someone else; is that sick on my part? I also thought it was a waste of Forest Whitaker's talent. Rod Serling would be rolling in his grave...maybe they should do an episode with that happening. They should have got a person who looks just like Serling and had him play 'Death', instead of Jason Alexander! The original show will never come close to being matched. ![]() |

I've got to agree with you on that point. Here's the way I look at it. I don't think many of the fans of the original tz will like this new tz. However, those that haven't seen the original tz probably will like the new tz. |
