Default Favorite TZ guest stars?

Who's your favorite guest stars that appeared on TZ? My favorites are Burgess Meredith, James Best, Anne Francis, and Cliff Robertson.

I seem to recall an episode with a baby faced Robert Redford, but forget what it was about. The Twilight Zone was a springboard for many aspiring actors and actresses. Great show.

I seem to sometimes confuse Twilight Zone and Night Gallery. Was it the TZ where Billy Mumy walks around the small town with the loaded gun? Also, where he terrorizes everyone in a small town, including his parents, threatening to turn them into a jack-in-the-box and banish them to the cornfield if they don't do everything he says?
Billy Mumy was a terrific child actor. I enjoyed him on Lost in Space too.

Robert was in the episode: Nothing in the Dark

*A frightened old woman who has sealed herself off from the world to avoid confronting death, admits a wounded policeman (who happens to be Death (Redford)) and soon learns that she may have made a big mistake.

I think the loaded gun was an episode of NG. I can't honestly answer that one because I've only seen an episode of NG.

Billy terroizes his town and turns people into jack-in the boxes or wishes them into the cornfield if they think nasty thoughts about him. That was an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Episodes of TZ that Billy was in:

Long Distance Call
It's a Good Life (this is the one where he terrorizes the town)
In Praise of Pip

Are you thinking of the one where he grabs his uncle's gun out of his suitcase and wanders around town with it, not knowing it's loaded? That's a TZ episode.

Oh my stars, I completely forgot about that scene. Come to think of it the part I remember was in the bedroom. Wasn't he fooling around with the gun then and that's when the uncle takes it away from him? My brain is shot for now. I'll have to think over it and come back later.

Mumy played Anthony Freemont.

First aired on November 3, 1961 (third season); Cloris Leachman played his Mom, Mrs. Freemont.

How in the world did I miss this topic? You may already know by now but if you don't, That wasn't a TZ episode. That was an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents called Bang! You're Dead and was one of only 20 or so episodes directed by Hitchcock himself.

Was the one where all these people are in an enclosed area and one tries to
climb out and you finally see its a barrell and those people turn out to be dolls, was that a Twilight Zone episode? It really spooked me out when I was
a kid.

I had a feeling you would know about that episode. It was very good, but it
made me want to shut my dolls up in the closet after seeing it when I was a kid. I was looking at a boxed set of The Twilight Zone at Borders & they wanted $99.99 for it. I'm guessing it had alot of disc's in it since it was so big, but that seems so expensive. I plan to keep looking around for a cheaper
price on it.
