"Car 54, Where Are You?" used to play on Nick At Nite years ago...I'm thinking the late '80's, as I recall...

Yes, Nick-at-Nite aired Car 54, Where Are You? from July 1, 1987-June 3, 1990. |

When I go home to New York at Christmas time, one channel is always having a "Car 54" marathon, but I can't for the life of me remember which channel it is. This show was written by the brilliant Nat Hiken, who also wrote "Seargent Bilko."

Is it the Metro Channel? They had the marathon on Christmas day I think two years straight before last year.I don't know if it was on last year on Christmas or any other day because I forgot to check. When was it on if it was?Too bad they took off Welcome Back, Kotter and Car 54, Where Are You? unless that brought it back early in the morning like 3:00 or around then?I doubt it that they brought it back early in the morning.I doubt they brought it back at a time i'm awake like late morning and the afternoon and at night. I want Car 54 to be on tv.It would great of it is like the Metro Channel back to back Kotter and 54.

Perhaps it was the Metro Channel. That sounds vaguely familar, but honestly I don't remember. I became aware of it two Christmases ago, and they also did it this past Christmas. I watched quite a few episodes, though.

Oh. Maybe they still had the rights to Car 54 IF it was that channel and maybe they still do since they had a Car 54 marathon IF it was that channel once again. |
