Default last season color episodes

Have the color episodes from the last season ever been shown in syndication?

Hi gregrob,

Yes, I remember the Disney channel airing these episodes in color in the mid eighties.

Default color

I read that the last season, 1965-66 was done in color, but I haven't seen any of them that I remember. There is one clip of Rick singing at the end of a show that is in color on the official website.

Disney Channel was great for showing the episodes however they were showing 200 in syndication and would cut a few minutes out of each show. I have no idea why they would do this. Then in the late 80's David Nelson released another 100 episodes and called them The Missing Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet which didn't cut anything. The color episodes where shown also. I believe there is still another 135 episodes that haven't been released. David Nelson, get to it please.

Default Because there were over 400 episodes produced..

...over 14 seasons, Ozzie decided to "showcase" the best 200 or so, and put them into syndication, eventually edited so that local stations could show more commericals. This is what The Disney Channel began showing in the '80s. Then David released some MORE episodes "from the vault" that weren't "cut for time". When the DVD box sets are all released, I think almost every episode will become available.

Default This is probably the first time most of you have seen me in color

A lot of episodes from the final season have turned up on VHS tapes, but in black and white! Go figure! Ozzie A Go-Go, Wally's Traffic Ticket, Rick's Raise and Waiting for Joe are a few that come to mind. Luckily for me, a friend taped O & H when it was on Disney Channel back in the late 80's, so I've been able to see a few color eps IN COLOR!
