They've just started running Unsolved Mysteries over here for the first time and it's episodes from 1994, does anyone know if there is a site that gives updates on the older cases and if they have bee solved?
Like today's episode that I just watched, a 17 year old girl Amy went missing in 1974 and there were traces of clues that she was still alive and knidnapped by bikers and I was really interested to know if she had been found yet.

That case is still unsolved. Usually, an update is an attached to the end of the segment if it has been solved. I assume you will get the same episodes (with updates) that are shown on Lifetime.
Which channel is showing them over there now? |

I've seen an update at the end of one of the episodes which was about the DNA of a Princess Anastacia I think who they thought was from a family but turned out to be a fraud.
It's showing on a channel called Living TV, it could be the same company as Lifetime since it shows a lot of the same shows. |

There were two developments in the case that UM has yet to report in an update segment
1) For years (at least since two years after Amy's abduction/disappearance) someone had be plaguing the Billig household with phone calls from a payphone saying either the "he had Amy" or "he killed Amy" or whatnot - It was later found out in the late 90s that this guy was mentally ill and was performing this hoax on the Billigs and in fact knew nothing about Amy's abuduction by the motorcycle gang. - I'm not sure if the Billig's pressed charges against this individual for harassment though but my guess is they prolly did. 2) It was also reported (and there is a link to this on the internet which I will post if I can find it) that a biker in the gang (forgot the name) which was suspected of abducting Amy made a statement that Amy was killed the day that she was abducted at one of the bikers home and her body was "fed to the gators" - This article also said Susan Billig (Amy's mom) has seemed to have accepted this explanation (this was also source from the late 90s early 00's) |
