Red face Actresses who played moms in movies that you can't imagine as moms

What moms that played moms in the movies can you not imagine as moms?

Jennifer Lopez in "Enough"-She's never struck me as a mother-type.

Jennifer Aniston in "The Iron Giant" and now "Friends"-I knew that I was getting old when I saw this LOL.

Ashley Judd in "Where the heart is"-Another one I can't imagine as a mother.I don't know why but....

Natalie Portman in "Where the heart is"-The fake accent kind of grew on me LOL anyway she just seemed more immature than her daughter in that movie IMO!

I would disagree with you on this one. Have you ever seen her on Simon Birch? Maybe in this movie she didn't seem like she would be one.

Drew Barrymoore in Riding in Cars with Boys--she still seems like a kid herself to me.
Loved the movie though.

You'll post anything just as long as it'll give you an opportunity to talk about Natalie bloody Portman, won't you!?!

Anyway, I agree with JanLady - Drew Barrymore never struck me as the "mommy" type.

Hm.. well, J Lo, but.... hmmm.... I dunno if she's ever played a mom but Delta Burke. not a mom type. Even if I did want her to be my mom.

Delta Burke played a mom in a Lifetime movie in which her son beat her up.

I saw that movie. The kid who beat her up is the kid in the Disney Movies, "The Luck of the Irish" and "Smart House."

I disagree on this one. I thought she did real well with portraying a 'Teen Parent'. I do agree it was a bit hard to wrap your head around, but she did real well with the character- IMO.

I also disagree on the Natalie Portman one in 'Where the Heart Is' I thought she did real well with portraying a 'Teen Parent' also. The accent was a bit weird, I agree... It was an okay movie and a fantastic book.

Nancy McKeon at the end of 'A Mother's Gift' although they did the make-up etc to make her look older her kid's looked older than her. The beginning of the movie was fine- just the end when her kids were like in there twenties it just didn't look right, and she still had the younger woman attitude- obviously- I thought anyway.
Same goes for the make-up at the end of 'Love, Honor, and Obey: The Last Mafia Marriage'.

Dana Plato in 'Schoolboy Father' she was probably a whole 15 and giving birth in it. Maybe it was just her characters bad attitude though.

One that I couldn't picture as a mother was the woman that played 'Kelly' on 'Married With Children' then she got her own Television Show which she portrayed a mother of a little boy. That was just so hard to picture after watching her on 'Married with Children' just didn't seem the type.

That's all I can think of..
