Are you planning on writing a sequel to that story or could you just let someone else write a continuation.?

I was planning to write a continuation, but I need to write a sequel to another fanfic first. I guess if someone wanted to write a continuation to it, it would be okay. I feel kind of weird having someone take my story and continue it in their own words, but it would be interesting to read. I would probably still write my own though.
