Cool

It sucks when your pet crosses the Rainbow Bridge, but after a period of mourning you get a new one. You'll never replace the ones you lost, but you'll learn to love the new one. May God bless you and your new cat.

I love vocal cats, and Lucy's a real chatterbox. If I tell her to stop doing whatever, she'll complain, and even go back and forth with me. I tell her to stop the backtalk young lady, lol.

What a find, a real lovebug. Poor Cesar got sick and was gone in eight days. Our hearts were broken, still are; fortunately, Lucy is a big help in the healing process.

That's great to hear, Janice. Feel free to post more pictures of Lucy over time. She's adorable.

We got a new kitten (Findus) in September, but he's pretty much adult by now. We still have one cold cat (Rasmus) left, but he's nineteen years old and has his health problems. But I can already feel that Findus will help us through the mourning when it's time for Rasmus to go.

Here's a picture of Findus and a Santa doll, that I took before Christmas.

Congratulations on your new kitten Janice I hope you and your cat have such a great bond with each other. My mom and I have had cats ever since I was a kid and they make great pets. We have had our cat for three years now and he is smart and very well trained but one thing I recommend is if you have a baby gate or a fireplace screen put it up near the entrance of your bedroom so your cat won't disturb you while you're eating. My cat always has a habit of sneaking into my room while I am eating breakfast or dinner and we cured him of that habit when Mom put an old fireplace screen over my bedroom entrance and we locked it to keep my cat out. Another thing you must do if your cat is in your bedroom is keep a short eye on your cat at all times especially if she goes under your bed. I don't know why cats like to hide under beds a lot but my cat likes to play hide and seek under my bed and sometimes it is impossible to get my cat out from under my bed sometimes and so Mom banned my cat from going under my bed and using it as a cave. So remember to make sure your kitten doesn't have a cave under your bed because it will be hard getting her out. Enjoy your new kitten Janice and hope these tips will be helpful to you
