Just staying at home with my parents. I'm not getting many gifts for Christmas this year because my father is saving money for a 2 week trip to Maine again next year, but there will be additional presents not underneath the tree.

We'll be staying home, my husband is still using a walker from the car wreck and can't get up the steps at my mothers or his mothers. My mother may come here on Christmas Day if the weather isn't bad. I bought a ham and the fixings for Christmas Dinner. I also plan to make some fudge & cookies. I bought some gift cards for my mom & brother's family. Then I bought a few things for my husband & son. My husband hasn't worked since the Oct. car wreck so things are pretty tight this year.

Tomorrow will be our annual Holiday Breakfast at Cracker Barrel. It will be
on Saturday this year because Christmas Eve falls on Sunday.

I'll be by myself this year. (Everyone I know is traveling out-of-town). On Christmas Eve I will attend Christmas Eve Services at six churches in my area. On Christmas I will attend a Christmas Luncheon held by a church in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. When I get home I'll break out a Rib Roast and cook it, then DEVOUR it!

I'll be spending a quiet Christmas, as I prefer! My mother is recuperating from major surgery, so it will be nice to spend time with her and other family members. I've been trying to get away from the whole gift buying aspect of Christmas, and opting to buy small, more meaningful gifts for others...
