Default When do you put up your Christmas decor?

It varies for me from year to year depending on how I feel but I usually put up all my Christmas decorations and tree on Thanksgiving day or the day before Thanksgiving.

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It's been a family tradition as far beck as I can remember.
When a survey among children on Santa's "Naughty List" asked them if, given a choice between getting lumps of coal or a Pay-TV subscription the result was UNANIMOUS, they all chose to get coal! :

I try to put it up the Sunday before Thanksgiving although it probably never happens. Always later. Last year, we had to buy a new tree as the one we had was old and by the time we ordered one and it got here, it was December 15 before we put it up.

Please check out my blog. I vent on all things. TV, sports etc. you name it. Its also a work in progress. Check out and see what you think.

It varies year to year. Last year my dad and I started on the week after Thanksgiving. This week I think we are starting the week after Halloween.

Thanksgiving feels about right. Whenever they start playing Christmas music on the radio.

Oh No

Usually around Thanksgiving, but since my mom passed away... I haven't been in the mood to put-up Christmas stuff.

But once me and my brother find a new place... I may put a tree up.

Usually Black Friday, day after thanksgiving. I think though there are certain decorations for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas you can combine, I consider Halloween to be the kick-off of the holiday season.

I'm going to try the Christmas Decorators this year - they bring them, put
them up and take them down - inside AND out, if you want. Sounds good to
me. It will be a nice change. We'll see . . .

The last time Christmas decor was put up in my house was in 2000.
