Story of my life. The women I like don't want me, and those who like me I don't want.

I had a girlfriend up until a few years ago, I treated her well and tried to do all the right things, but it still wasn't enough, after 12 years with me she decided she wanted to leave and go be with another man. After a few attempts of talking to her to see if she'd change her mind, I realized I was wasting my time so I told her to pack up her junk and move out.

So now I'm single again, it does get lonely at times but I'm making the best with my situation. I have my freedom and can do what I want every day, no one here to bother me except for my pet dog. Life could be worse, at the current time I'm doing OK and I'm thankful for what I have.

:P

Maybe someday I will say yes.

I once got dumped on Sweetest Day, and to make it worse I got dumped by a guy having a party that night where I wasn't invited! Nice, huh? I've gotten dumped on Valentines Day.

Sorry to hear that... I have a friend who met someone on Sweetest Day 5 years ago...but he used her. I'm glad she found someone better than him... I hope I can find a lady soon...but I feel that I'll be married when the Browns are in the Super Bowl!...

Retro, how many women do you try to date on here? That's part of your problem, you need to seek out women actually interested in you.

I used to say I would marry when the Cubs won the World Series but that no longer works. I hate people who use others so glad she found someone better.

How many? LOL, the more the better. You and I could still get acquainted, I'm open to the idea but I'm not waiting for you to change your mind. You know my situation, I cannot travel, you would have to travel to me but again I don't expect you to change your mind.

You're correct about that, that's always been my problem. The ones I'm interested in don't want me, and vice versa. If I don't meet anyone that's fine, I'm getting used to being single and living alone. It has it's advantages and that's what I'm focusing on.
