Nodsmiley Let's get excited for Halloween !!!!

And fall/autumn in general!!! Cooler weather !!! Pretty fall colors and Halloween just around the corner!!

With all the bad things going on lately! Hurricanes and a terrible earthquake . The horrible Las Vegas shooting and celebrity deaths, we need something cheery now!! Let's have some Halloween fun!!!

Autumn, my favorite time of year. And October my favorite month of the year.

Though the wife and I still decorated, still not quite the same without our daughter here as she was in to it as much (or more) as me, and was the one that really got the place decorated. And when they were younger she would always have the younger cousins over to carve pumpkins.

This month I am participating in a horror movie challenge, I'm trying to watch all first time views for me at least 31 horror movies.
Also looking forward to seeing the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre at the theater the weekend before Halloween.

So cute!! Halloween is so cool, but I know what you mean. It was so sweet when my two were little. Them deciding what they were going to be for Halloween. Getting them ready !! Trick or treating. They were so excited and had so much fun!!

But I still decorate the house, buy candy. Fewer and fewer kids come around over the years. But we still have fun. The Hub and I have a few beers or I have some wine and we watch horror movies too!

I had my toes painted orange when I had a pedicure last week to get started on the Halloween spirit. I will need a new pedi before Halloween though! I'm thinking of getting them painted black and maybe some nail art on my big toes! Maybe some cute ghosts or pumpkins painted on!

Yes! Those are fun times for the kids! And taking her around the neighborhood when she was little was fun. The neighborhood we lived in before we moved here there was a lot of kids trick or treating, plus that place was within walking distance of one of my sisters, so my daughter, and niece (the one who lived with us) could easily go trick or treating together.
When we first moved where we're at now we got trick or treaters, but as the years went on, less and less, to now nothing. Everyone mainly now takes the kids into downtown Sandy and the whole main street is set up for the kids.

We still buy candy though, and of course watch horror movies that night.
