Movie 31 Days, 31 horror movies...

A horror forum I belong to is hosting an October challenge, to watch at least 31 horror movies- at least 16 of them must be first time views. I'm going to try to watch 31 I've never seen before, for the fun of it I'm also keeping a list of them here.

In bold are the ones I liked.

Oct 1:

Sickhouse (2016)
Found footage, which I am a sucker for, I thought the ending was actually kind of creepy.

Oct 2:

Bed Of The Dead (2016)
The second best bed themed horror movie, the first being Death Bed: The Bed That Eats.

Oct 3:

Leatherface (2017)
Unwanted (2017)

Oct 4:

They Have Changed Their Face (1971)

Oct 5:

Halloween Tales (2017)

Oct 7:

The Final Project (2016)
Rorschach (2015)

Oct 8:

House Of The Wolf Man (2009)

Oct 9:

Gerald's Game (2017)
The Appointment (1981)

Oct 10:

Happy Hunting (2017)

Oct 11:

Megan Is Missing (2011)
Mama Dracula (1980)

Oct 12:

Devil's Night (2017)
Sleepy Hollow High (2000)

Oct 13:

The Babysitter (2017)
Happy Death Day (2017)

Oct 14:

Better Watch Out (2016)

Oct 15:

Lycan (2017)

Oct 16:

Talon Falls (2017)
My World Dies Screaming (1958)

Oct 17:

Smartass (2017)

Won't it be hard to find 31 that you haven't seen? Sometimes SyFy or AMC will show a bunch of horror movies during October. I don't know if they're doing it this year or not.

I've seen all of those, but is there a list somewhere that shows all of the movie he has aired? That might give me some I haven't seen yet.

Nah, there is still a lot of horror films I haven't seen, mostly I'll be watching films from the last 15 years or so as they're usually fairly easy to find streaming online. And there's quite a few older horror films I'm tracking down I haven't seen yet. One I'm looking for is the 1968 Mexican horror film Even The Wind Is Afraid.
Plus I belong to a site that tracks down obscure horror, I've got them looking for an early 2000s Halloween slasher called Sleepy Hollow High.

According to IMDB Trivia, a younger version of Sally and Franklin Hardesty appear in Leatherface, but I didn't see anyone that would be them?

Curse of the Faceless Man (1958)

Pharaoh's Curse (1957)

Curse of the Black Widow (1977) And I thought I had seen all of Dan Curtis' stuff.

Black Magic Woman (1991) This one I'm not sure if I've seen or not, back then in 1991 I watched anything Mark Hamill, so I'll definitely look for this one. Plus it has Apollonia, who is very easy on the eyes...

Ritual of Evil (1970)

Within the Rock (1995)

The Whispering (1995)

So far my favorite film has been the 1971 Italian film They Have Changed Their Faces, sort of a modern day update of Dracula.

My least favorite, The Final Project (2016), I'm usually very forgiving with found footage style horror films, but for a found footage film to work for me, it has the actors have to seem like they're not acting, but you're watching real life. Didn't work in this film.

These are some of the newer horror films (newer as in post-2014) I'm interested in watching...

Happy Hunting is now my second favorite movie I've watched, I'm a sucker for The Most Dangerous Game/human hunting type flicks, and this is easily one of the best I've seen in years.
