He sounds good, I always liked Deep Purple. Also, his voice kind of reminds me of Robert Plant.

I love IAN in deep purple and its sad they let him go

I HAVE THIER 1969 ALBUM ON 8 TRACK AND ITS INSANE!!! (Thier BEST album)

I've never been a fan of Deep Purple but one band I'm listening to lately is Accept. With new lead singer Mark Tornillo, Accept has been re-energized and their last four albums are all excellent.

Ianís been back in Deep Purple for the last 25 years. I think their best album is In Rock, from 1970. Thatís the first one with Ian and itís still the heaviest thing Purple ever recorded. Everything since then hasnít been quite as good, and Iíve been enjoying Ianís work with his own band, Gillan, more.

I donít think Ian sounds like Robert Plant. Heís much better than Robert. I never got into Led Zeppelin.

Yes, I have. You really should have their 1970 album, though, In Rock. That's their best.
