I'd like to know how many women hold down a job to keep a family because they have to and not out of choice. I also noticed during my holiday in August the deterioration of childrens' behaviour, especially very young children, whose mothers' skills in this area were lacking to say the least in the cafés I frequented to sit and read.

The fact remains that a mother's primary role is child-rearing, they are better at this than men, and without this skill you're going to get more Bambers, Breiviks and Bains, all of whose mothers were woefully inadequate with tragic consequences in every case.

I disagree, I don't feel a mother's main role is to do child rearing. In fact, the brats I know have moms who stay at home and are lazy. The best kids I know have a working mom. I don't believe women are better at it than men, some women are good but others aren't. I know a stay at home dad who does a great job. Just for the record I don't have kids and hate babies. I avoid babies and can't stand them.

People of both genders have become picky. I see these 50 year old men on dating sites who want 30 year olds, though they don't make much money, are unattractive and obese.

I try to stay out of the political thread. I dont like getting into arguments with people etc. But have to say something about this and in general.

This whole DACA thing and the illegal immigrants. If they are here illegally why cant they just become legal citizens? What is the problem? Cant they take whatever test or anything that they need to become citizens?

The problem is that people wait years to come here legally and we keep passing laws to allow people that cheat and sneak in to stay here. That encourages others to do the same. And the people that sneak in are usually the least desirable people. So what we wind up with is millions and millions of uneducated, unskilled people with lots of children that cost America $ billions if not $ trillions in welfare and medical care, and have led to hundreds of thousands of mexican and other violent gang members that murder indiscriminately and traffic in drugs.

While I don't want welfare abusers and criminals here and I want to deport them I do feel differently about dreamers. They came here because of their parents and yes illegally but what about the ones who are contributing to our economy? I think those are are really contributing (like military, business owners) etc so be able to stay but not the welfare leeches.

Btw, it's not just Mexicans who are leeches. I worked in ESL and saw many from Russia who were coming for welfare. We need stricter welfare rules. I know the 1996 act helped but not as well as it could have.

I am really mixed on this because I oppose illegal immigration and oppose people coming here for welfare but I also look at the kids who know no other country and really do many things like serve in the military.

I think the politicians will reach a compromise over the 800,000 so-called Dreamers, but there are 11 million illegal immigrants who entered the country through the back door and therefore jumped the queue, so they should be deported and apply again from their country of origin if they so wish.
