So I start ordering and the kids says "Nah we don't got that." I pick something else "Nah, we don't got that" - this goes on for at least three or four minutes before I ask - "well, what DO you have?" - "Oh, we is all out of chicken, but we got fries and biscuits."

so I drove off and have never been back for their mediocre chicken again. Incidentally, when we left the line was about 8 or 9 cars long - I do not understand why they did not just close if they were out of chicken. That particular restaurant has shut down completely since then.
You probably had a lot worse location than most. The Lees I have been to in Fort Wayne aren't that bad. And I like their chicken and that you can get it boneless, it is better than KFC's.

Is it the tomato sauce you don't like at Papa Johns? For a long time I didn't like them because of that, but a few years ago started ordering their pizza without sauce and liked it.

Cool

I've only eaten a Godfather's Pizza once (No hard feelings). During a gathering of the American Coaster Enthusiasts at Arnold's Park, Iowa they served us lunch. There were only two choices, Cheese and Pepperoni, but they were good. There are no Godfather's Pizza in my area (Daytona Beach Florida, so I cannot try their other versions.

Has anyone ever eaten at Taco Cabana? IMO when it comes to Mexican fast-food restaurants this chain RULES! No one else even comes close! If they ever open a restaurant in my area I'll eat out of their hands.

I swear that you can actually taste the aluminum from the can it comes from in their sauce, but that's not all I didn't like about it - it always seems like the dough and the vegetables are undercooked bordering on raw and it is too greasy - even for pizza.

maybe some people like their pizza or had a better experience at different franchises, but not for me. I prefer Me N' Ed's, Little Caesars, Donato's, Marionís, Rapid Fired, I don't even mind Pizza Hut and Dominos is now edible.

I never really cared for Papa John's pizza either!

You aren't missing much! Starbuck's is SO overrated!! First off the coffee isn't really even that good. Second they are so crowded , and who wants to stand in a long line just to get a cup of mediocre tasting coffee in a paper cup! ? I'm old school. I much prefer to go to a diner type place like Denny's and have a waitress bring me a cup of coffee in a regular coffee cup and saucer !! Or just have a cup of coffee at home!!

I've never been to Chipoltle ! There is one really close to where I live but it doesn't appeal to me! Out here we have so many authentic taco stand Mexican food and little private owned Mom and Pop Mexican restaurants , I don't see going to a chain like that! Except I do like Taco Bell's bean burritos ! They are yummy!!

I used to eat at Taco Cabana but the Fort Wayne locations closed a long time ago.

Living in a small Midwest community, there's lots of them I've never been to.

Popeye's, Church's, Friday's, Carl G's among them.

Also, never been to a Starbuck's. Then again, I don't drink coffee so I wouldn't go anyway.
