Cool Second Wave of ‘Victor Crowley’ Tour Locations Announced

Quote:
Are you ready for a return to the swamp?
EW can exclusively reveal that writer-director Adam Green has secretly made a fourth film in his Hatchet slasher franchise. The movie is called Victor Crowley and once again stars Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th) as the Louisiana swamp-dwelling, supernatural killer after whom the new movie is named. The film is being described as a reboot and is set ten years after the massacre featured in the series’ first three movies (2006’s Hatchet, 2010’s Hatchet II, and 2013’s Hatchet III). Victor Crowley costars Hatchet franchise veteran Parry Shen (Better Luck Tomorrow) as well as Laura Ortiz (2006’s The Hills Have Eyes), Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie), and Brian Quinn (truTV’s Impractical Jokers). Victor Crowley is written and directed by Green who penned all three Hatchet films and directed the first two movies. The filmmaker’s company ArieScope Pictures has partnered with Dark Sky Films on the movie.

I love the 3 Hatchet movies, so I am looking forward to this.

I just watched the trailer.

As Count Floyd would say.

Very scary!

The child doing the narration was an inspired choice.

Well, more funny and over the top gore than scary.

And here's Zach Galligan as the sheriff in Hatchet III...

The director Adam Green said that while they were filming Hatchet III, Zach came to hang out with Adam and his wife, they watched Gremlins, and Zach gave a live running commentary on the film for them.

Default Second Wave of ‘Victor Crowley’ Tour Locations Announced

Hold on to all of your pieces.

The fourth installment in the Hatchet franchise, titled Victor Crowley (read our review), is embarking on a theatrical roadshow across the United States next month, and we’ve got a fresh batch of new dates and locations for you tonight!

Set a decade after the events of the first three films, Victor Crowley reunites Hatchet mainstays Kane Hodder and Parry Shen for an all-new, horrifying journey into the haunted, blood-drenched bayou.

“In 2007, forty-nine people were brutally torn to pieces in Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp. Over the past decade, lone survivor Andrew Yong’s claims that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the horrific massacre have been met with great controversy, but when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Yong must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past.”

Victor Crowley’s ensemble cast also features Laura Ortiz (2006’s The Hills Have Eyes), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie), and Brian Quinn (truTV’s “Impractical Jokers”).

Laura Ortiz makes a cameo appearance in Hatchet II, in the first Hatchet, one of the characters played by Joel Murray is making adult films similar to Girls Gone Wild. In the second Hatchet, John Carl Buechler's character find's Joel's video camera, and Laura Ortiz is one of the girls John sees on the video Joel is trying unsuccessfully to get in his adult video...
