Oregon seems to be a late starter for the Fall. Portland University starts on the 28th.

have an update on mom. Hope you guys are sitting down. Listen to this. My mom got moved from the 15th floor to the 14th floor of Smilow. But here's the thing. She looks good. I mean there is NOTHING on her. No tubes, she's not hooked up to anything, the treak is out, she's breathing good. They said her vital signs are good, blood is good, her kidneys, which we thought might be a problem, are fine. Its truly amazing. We just don't know when she's getting discharged but hopefully soon.

Seeing my daughter's face when I gave her my entire (Well minus the few I have on the wall in the basement that I want to keep) movie poster collection, which is over 800, mostly horror, but scifi, fantasy and other genres as well. Her look was either "Wow, I can't believe you're giving me this collection you've had going since you were a teen." or "What the hell am I going to do with all of these posters?" Either way, it was priceless.

800 posters?! Wow, that's insane. But so nice of you!

I would've had a lot more, but years ago I lost a bunch in a basement flood, fortunately they weren't any of the favorites, or of the good collection, they were the lesser film posters. But still...

That's super impressive! Sorry to hear about the ones that got ruined in the flood. That's really a bummer.
