Pipe bomb suspect captured
21-year old college student Luke John Helder was captured
somewhere in Nevada yesterday after leading officers of the Nevada Highway Patrol on 40 mile pursuit at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. He give himself up after being convinced to do so by the Nevada Highway Patrol and the FBI. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with two federal offenses, one of which is punishable by 30 years in prison and other being punishable by life in prison, with fines totaling $5000 He is currently being held in federal custody in Las Vegas, NV. |
