Be thankful for having the freedom to do what you want to do, there are many nations that don't have what we do. We may gripe and bicker about some things from time to time we set days aside to observe and celebrate. Here's a list of my favorite holidays, both official and "semi-unofficial" (I've listed these in italics Note I've changed the names of three official holidays.

January 1. New Years Day

January 6. Feast of the Kings

Third Monday of January. Have some Cheese with your Whine Day

Third Monday of February. Stupid Bank Holiday

January 27. Famous Firsts Day. (Matt Winkler's Birthday), the first human to come down a case of rabies. AND LIVE TO TELL ABOUT IT! (He the first of two fellows to get the Men's USA Little *Stinker* of the 20th Century) Award.

March 17. St. Patrick's Day

March 29. Bug Your Parents Day On this date in 1975 my folks went out for a night on the town, leaving me have supper by myself. After being told to put the charge on the hotel bill I asked if I could have whatever I wanted and they said "yes". Little did they know that I just set them up for a fall, BIG TIME!!! Now, what should I have for dinner? Hot Dog, Fries and a Coke? Nah! Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and a Sprite? Nah! Fishwich, Cole Slaw and an Orange Crush? Nah, had that for lunch yesterday! Full-Course Live Maine Lobster with Prime Rib? WE HAVE A WINNER! The look on their faces after they saw the bill was PRICELESS (My dad called me a Little *Stinker* and I WORE IT LIKE A BADGE! ). Since they gave me permission to eat what I wanted they couldn't do a thing about it (not to mention I had witnesses). From that point on whenever they went out to do something they gave me ten dollars, if I wanted anything fancy that costed more I was ORDERED to make sure the difference COMES OUT OF MY POCKET, OR ELSE!

The Friday before the first Sunday after the first full moon after the equinox. Good Friday

Three days later the above ^. Easter

LITTLE *Stinker* Month! (April)

April 2. Kim Phuc Day (Woman's International Little *Stinker* of the 20th Century)

April 14. Flavio DaSilva Day. Men's International Little *Stinker* of the 20th Century.

April 22. Shirley Temple Day (Woman's USA Little *Stinker* of the 20th Century

May 6 Expedition Day A day set aside for all of you intrepid adventerers out there who are on an endless mission to explore strange new regions, to seek out new lifeforms and civalizations. to boldly go where nobody (you know) has gone before!

Second Sunday in May. Mother's Day

Last Monday in May Memorial Day

Third Sunday in June. Father's Day

July 4. Independance Day

July 9. Serious Thrill Issues Day On July 9. 1960 seven year old Roger Woodward (The second man to get the Mens USA Little *Stinker* of the 20th Century Award) accidentally swam over Niagara Falls (His parents very likely FREAKED OUT when they found out what happened!)

August 19. National Aviation Day (My Birthday)

First Monday of September. Labor Day

September 3. Splurge Day

September 11. Patriot Day

First or Second Monday of October. Leif Erikson Day

November 11. Veteran's Day

November 21, DOH! Day -A day set aside for all who'e done something STOOPID (Such as turning left on a red light (Just my luck, the car behind me was a police car).

Fourth Thursday of November. Thanksgiving

December 7. Pearl Harbor Day

December 25 Christmas

Thumbs up

It was a real fine weekend... despite not having my mom with me, I see she's celebrating another Independence Day...where God gave us that freedom only we can dream....
