Question Sports Moments That Might Have Broken Twitter

Technically speaking, Twitter started in March 2006, so anything we mention has to be before then.

I wouldn't doubt that Cleveland Cavaliers winning it all last year broke Twitter since that was Cleveland's first Championship in over 50 years.

Bare in mind that I'm referring to events that happened before the existence/creation of Twitter, which would be before March 2006. For example I have little doubt that had Twitter been around when these events happened, it would've been a big deal:
*Magic Johnson announcing that he's HIV positive

*OJ Simpson's slow speed Bronco chase during Game 5 of the 1994 NBA Finals

*The Miracle on Ice

*The 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake during the World Series

*The Heidi Game

*The 1994 World Series being canceled

*The Munich Massacre at the 1972 Summer Olympics

*Michael Jordan's first retirement

*The controversial finish to the gold medal men's basketball game between the United States and Soviet Union at the 1972 Summer Olympics

*The death of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. at the 2001 Daytona 500

*The Steve Bartman incident

*Pete Rose being banned from baseball back in 1989

*Bill Buckner letting the ball go through his legs in Game 6 of the 1986 World Series

*Game 5 of the 1976 NBA Finals between Boston and Phoenix, which is arguably the single greatest game in NBA history.

*Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl halftime show

Never mind...but if Twitter existed in 1991...The Buffalo Bills missed field goal would break Twitter.

If Twitter existed in 1961...Roger Maris' Home Run Record would break Twitter.

If Twitter existed in the 1944...there'd be a lot of tweets about 4F men playing in baseball and football.

If Twitter existed in 1919...there'd be tweets about Babe Ruth and the White Sox.
