http://genhq.com/faq-info-about-generations/

Gen Z, iGen, or Centennials: Born 1996 and later
Millennials or Gen Y: Born 1977 to 1995
Generation X: Born 1965 to 1976
Baby Boomers: Born 1946 to 1964
Traditionalists or Silent Generation: Born 1945 and before.

This site seems more informed and reliable than Wiki so I'm going by it.
Like I said, the boundaries are sort of a grey area. Wikipedia was ambiguous and gave dates from several sources and I had to put something down. Is there a way to change the poll to make it more accurate? The ranges you give seem to satisfy the Baby Boomers here.

You need to contact an administrator and explain the changes you want made.

Generation Y/Millennial...

We were the last generation that drank from the hose, played outside until the sun went down, respected people, watched SatAM Cartoons, had McDonald's as a treat not as a daily dinner, and we talked to people face-to-face.

I sooooo miss the 80's and 90's!
