Exclamation Terror Attack at Ariana Grande Concert in U.K. Kills 22, 50 More Injured

Explosion, Panic and Death at Ariana Grande Concert in England
by Rory Smith and Sewell Chanmay
May 22, 2017

At least one explosion, which may have been a suicide bombing, thundered through a Manchester concert arena on Monday night just as a performance by the pop star Ariana Grande ended, in what the police described as a “terrorist incident.”

They said at least 19 people had been killed and 50 wounded as panicked spectators, including adolescents, screamed and fled.

There was no immediate word from the police on the precise cause of the blast, but it evoked the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015, which included a deadly assault inside a concert arena where the Eagles of Death Metal had been playing.

"This is currently being treated as a terrorist incident until the police know otherwise," the Manchester police said in a Twitter post.

People at the concert at the Manchester Arena said they had heard what sounded like explosions at the end of the show, around 10:30 p.m. There were unconfirmed reports that a suicide bomber had detonated a nail-filled explosive device.

At least one explosion happened in the foyer of the arena, not the main event hall, according to the British Transport Police, the force that protects Victoria Station, the train terminus next to the arena. The terminal was evacuated.

Early Tuesday morning, Sky News reported that a bomb disposal team had arrived on the scene as part of a police investigation and that the security cordon around the arena had been widened.

One concertgoer, Sasina Akhtar, told The Manchester Evening News that there had been an explosion at the back of the arena after the last song. “We saw young girls with blood on them,” she said. “Everyone was screaming, and people were running.”

Ms. Grande, 23, is on an international tour supporting her 2016 album, 'Dangerous Woman'. Two additional acts, Victoria Monιt and Bia, performed as openers on Monday. The tour was scheduled to continue on Thursday at the O2 Arena in London.

“Ariana is O.K.,” said her publicist, Joseph Carozza. “We are further investigating what happened.”

They're saying it's 22 now, and ISIS is claiming responsibility.

I haven't checked any of the twitter pages of her former Victorious cast members yet, nor have I looked for any of the BS from the conspiracy nutjob enemy propagandists.

Manchester Arena Attack: 22 killed at Ariana Grande Gig by Bomber Named as Salman Abedi
by Danny Boyle, Barney Henderson, Leon Watson
May 23, 2017

The suicide bomber who brought carnage to the Manchester Arena has been named as Salman Abedi. Monday night's attack at a concert by US pop star Ariana Grande left 22 people dead, including an eight-year-old girl, and dozens injured.

Theresa May raised Britain's terror threat level from severe to critical and said the military could be deployed to support armed police officers at public events.

May said the perpetrator had chosen the time and place of his attack deliberately to cause "maximum carnage and to kill and injure indiscriminately." She flew to Manchester to speak to police chiefs and medics treating some of the child victims.

Abedi, believed to have been born in Manchester and of Libyan descent, studied business at Salford University but dropped out before completing his degree.

The 22-year-old is thought to have attended the Manchester Islamic Centre, also known as Didsbury Mosque, along with his parents and siblings.

A family friend, who asked not to be named, described him as "normal" and said they were known to the Libyan community in the city.

He said: "He was always friendly, nothing to suggest (he was violent). He was normal, to be honest."

Abedi was named after armed officers carried out a raid on the red brick semi in south Manchester where he was registered as living. Greater Manchester Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said detectives were working to establish whether he was working alone or as part of a network.

Residents were ordered to stay inside as around 20 police swooped on a house in Elsmore Road in Fallowfield carrying out a controlled explosion on the front door.

Elsewhere in south Manchester, the first arrest was made in connection with the inquiry when a 23-year-old man was detained near a Morrisons in Chorlton.

The Islamic State terror group claimed responsibility for the barbaric attack, which involved a home-made device packed with nuts and bolts which exploded in the venue's foyer as thousands of young people were leaving.

Sadly, I found the conspiracy nutjuob enemy propaganda videos telling everybody this was fake before I found the tweets from the former Victorious cast and crew.

Anyone worried about what kind of world we live in has a bigger reason to be worried because of those a--holes.
