If acting isn't their thing anymore, I think it's a good thing if child actors disappear when they get older. Most of the time, if you hear about an ex-child actor, it's a bad thing.
Eric also appeared in the "Cindy Brady, Lady" episode of The Brady Bunch.

Mara Wilson was famous throughout the 1990s for her roles in Mrs. Doubtfire, Miracle on 34th Street, Matilda, and A Simple Wish.

After Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000) she decided to stop acting (on film/tv) until fairly recently. She told US Magazine in 2012, "Film acting is not very fun. Doing the same thing over and over again until, in the director's eyes, you 'get it right', does not allow for very much creative freedom. The best times I had on film sets were the times the director let me express myself, but those were rare."

Today she spends most of her time writing for online news and blog sites and published a memoir in 2016 on her life as a former child star.

Her more recent acting roles were a cameo in Comedy Central's "Broad City" and a voiceover role on Netflix's "BoJack Horseman" in 2016.

He still acts, mainly in direct to video horror trash. His most famous role being the little kid from Jerry Maguire.

That chubby little girl Tina, from the sitcom with the actress who used to play Muffy on Square Pegs never got work after that show. I forget it's name. the mother was a dental assistant and the father worked in a JC Penney.

Quin Cummings from the Goodbye Girl didn't get work after the movie. She homeschools her daughter now.

I don't know if anyone already answered this, but after "The Goodbye Girl" Quin Cummings was cast in the TV show "Family" (with Kristy McNichol, Sada Thompson, Meridith Baxter Birney etc) for at least a while. As far as what I recall, she played a girl who's parents died and who was adopted or taken in by the family .
I guess it meant that "Family" Jumped The Shark.

Butch Patrick's most known role was as Eddie Munster in "The Munsters" but he did a Disney movie called "The Young Loner" (or something like that) and he did an episode of "The Monkees" and after he grew into his teens he acted in the Saturday morning TV show, "Lidsville." But he seemed to have disappeared after that even though I heard that he worked behind the scenes.

Also I think that the girl who played "Wednesday" in The Adams Family (the original TV show with John Adams as Gomez) disappeared after that show went off the air. I am not sure.
The boy who played Pugsley was related to the Weatherwax family who trained several generations of collie dogs to play "Lassie." I am not sure if he went on to do any more acting roles after The Adams Family or just went back to the family business of training dogs for movies and TV.

Lisa Loring (Wednesday) did go on to work on "As the World Turns" for a couple of years in the late 70's/early 80's. And I'm pretty sure she made some low budget horror films in the 80's, but otherwise, no, she hasn't done a lot of acting. I think she still does the convention circuit, though; not sure.

I saw Lisa Loring on As the World Turns before I really knew who she was. She became a mother at age 15.

2 of the kids from Step by Step
Angela Watson - I remember reading something about her parents stealing the money she earned as an actress.
Josh Byrne/ his character disappeared while Step by Step was still on.

Ken Weatherwax became a grip and stagehand as an adult with the occasional reprising of Pugsley in reunion shows. Unfortunately he died a few years ago after a heart attack.

Tommy Norden and Luke Halpin who played Bud and Sandy on the 1960s series Flipper. I only know them for that series and after it was cancelled I don't know that either one of them did anymore acting roles again.

Kelly Reno. He played the boy Alec in a late 70s movie version of The Black Stallion (It was either 1978 or 1979 if I remember). The movie also starred Mickey Rooney, and Terri Garr played his mother. It was directed by Francis Ford Coppola. I've seen it a few times and I think Reno is terrific in it. I think he might've done a few TV guest spots after that and then dropped out of acting. I seem to remember that Entertainment Tonight interviewed him in the late 80s and he was living out west somewhere and actually working on a ranch (cattle or horse I can't remember now) and he seemed quite happy with his life.
