Beyond Brady reunions and reality shows, I think you could easily put Mike Lookinland, Susan Olsen, and Christopher Knight in this category.

There are so many child actors who didn't stick with acting when they became adults it's hard to name them all I'm sure.

Jake Lloyd. He got so much undeserved hatred after he played a young Anakin Skywalker (future Darth Vader) in The Phantom Menace he never wanted to act again. And I can't say I blame him.

The girl who played the youngest Chrissy Seaver, on Growing Pains. Ashley something, I can't think of her last name right now. Other than the couple of reunion films they did for Growing Pains I've never seen her in anything else after Growing Pains ended its run. I remember seeing her in a few TV commercials too before she got the role of Chrissy but I never thought she was such a good actress anyways.

Ashley (Johnson, by the way) is actually the opposite. Her resume is huge, including a ton of voice work.

I believe you're talking about Ashley Miller. I remember seeing her on Growing Pains and she was such a darling actress in the role of Chrissy Seaver when she was young and it's a shame that Ashley Miller never has been seen in any other shows now as an adult because Ashley Miller had such a talented career in TV

Her name is actually Ashley Johnson and she has actually had a very long and successful career post-Growing Pains. After "Growing Pains" she starred in several series including"All American Girl" (an ABC series starring Margaret Cho); Phenom (an ABC sitcom co-starring Judith Light and William Devane); Maybe This Time (an ABC Sitcom starring Marie Osmond and Betty White); "Dirt" (an FX series starring Courteney Cox). She has also done tons of episodic work on various shows; and is currently one of the main stars of the NBC drama series "Blindspot".

Staci (or Stacey) Keenan was a fantastic actress who starred on two hit series "My Two Dads" and "Step By Step" and did numerous episodic roles and TV movies in the late 1980's and 1990's and then after "Step By Step" kind of just vanished, I believe her last credited role of substance was the 2010 movie "You Again."

Her Step By Step co-stars Angela Watson, Christopher Castile, Brandon Call, Emily Mae Young and Josh Byrne also quit acting after the series; never to be seen again.

Family Matters Kellie Shanygne Williams and Jamie Foxworth Jr haven't had very successful careers post-Family Matters either. In fact, Foxworth actually ended up addicted to drugs and doing pornographic videos. She has been something of a staple in the tabloids for her horrible post-Family Matters career.

Does anyone remember a child star that starred in a short-lived CBS sitcom called Meego that starred Perfect Strangers's Bronson Pinchot and then after Meego was cancelled the child star moved on to appear in Target commercials and finally appeared in the movie Stuart Little. Mom used to have a crush on him because she thought he was so funny in the Target commercials

Sarah Stimson who played as Little Miss Marker (the version with Walter Matthew and Julie Andrews in it) in 1980.

Also Michael Hershewe who played in Casey's Shadow (1979) also with Walter Matthew starring.
At least I have not heard of what these kid actors went on to do.

A good movie from the early sixties, The World of Henry Orient*, starred teenagers Tippy Walker and Merrie Spaeth. Walker got a regular role on Peyton Place for a while, but finished (per imdb) with acting by 1972, while Spaeth only has two other credits, for TV episodes.

*Peter Sellers movie with a good vintage cast: Angela Lanbury, Tom Bosley, Paula Prentiss, Al Lewis, John Fiedler.
