These are the best, very buttery tasting, and yes... very hard to find!

I haven't seen cheese balls in years myself but my godfather used to buy three cans of Planters Cheese Balls for my mom and me whenever we would stay with him on Summer vacations and they were good for snacks whenever you watched TV or a Friday Night snack. But ever since then the only place I have seen cheese balls is at a store named Smart And Final and they have loads of them in bags and a giant tub full of cheese balls. But I think cheese balls have disappeared and are now replaced by mini bags of mini pretzels and Chex Mix because it used to be that everytime you would attend New Year's Eve parties or the prom they used to have a table full of cheese balls as a popular party food. But cheese balls should make a comeback because it was a great food

I remember them too but I haven't seen them in any stores in the last several years. Maybe Cheese Puffs took their place.
