The British and American LP sleeves, respectively, of the Rolling Stones' Aftermath. Not only were the sleeves different, so were the song selections. Heck, even the title was different; the British title uses a hyphen between the latter two syllables. Did I happen to mention that I have the British edition on vinyl?

The Beatles' Revolver could have been called After Geography, a pun on the Stones' album, if Ringo's suggestion had been taken seriously. Here's what a cover of After Geography could have looked like. Hey, if any aspiring musicians out there need an LP title, After Geography is still available.

And here's the U.K. version of After Geography - with the three songs that were used to fill out Yesterday and Today!

Though I doubt that's where singer/songwriter Jesse Winchester got the idea for . . .

Taken in WA State. Golfers get in a few rounds, with wildfire across the river in Oregon as their backdrop...

The Beatles' White Album could have been called A Doll's House, after Henrik Ibsen's play, and a cover for the LP was prepared with this title in the early summer of 1968 . . .

. . .but then in July of that year, the British progressive rock band Family released their debut album Music In a Doll's House, which, incidentally, is one of the greatest debut albums ever! It was produced by Traffic's Dave Mason. Coincidentally, Geoff Emerick quit working for the Beatles as a recording engineer and the Yellow Submarine movie had its world premiere the same week Music In a Doll's House was released.
