Default Technology is ruining society

Technology is making us lazier. Technology is taking away what it means to be a human. Robots are taking over many jobs, which could unemploy thousands of people. Some things like newspapers or reading books are becoming extinct because of technology. I am opposed to technological advancement and I hope it doesn't go further

You're out of luck, as long as there are people on Earth there will always be advances in technology.

People using technology to complain about technology...

I've felt that way for a long time. It's sad and a bit frightening how fast things are changing. It's definitely heading towards books simply becoming obsolete.

At the same time it's impractical and impossible to rebel. If I need to look something up and there's a computer in front of me, I'm not going to walk to the library and open an encyclopedia. I'm just going to Google and get my answer in 3 seconds because that's the best option I have available to me.

Maybe society is ruining technology. Things are being used in ways that they were never intended.

Good point Gidget! It seems as though anything that is invented or discovered can be /and is misused. That can be a scary thing!

Best statement I've read in a long time. This is so true.
