Default Another Death

When I learned that Hazel Shermet had died, I started a thread on this page called "Goodbye Dear Hazel". This is one of a rather small minority of threads started by me that managed to generate some replies. I have since started at least two more threads pertaining to her memory that have not generated any replies. Well, earlier today, I was in a drugstore and saw something very interesting on a magazine rack. There was a picture of Mary Tyler Moore with mention of the years that she lived. I had no idea that she recently died. To the best of my knowledge, she never appeared on "Gimme a Break!". However, she was mentioned at least once. The time that I am thinking of is from the third-season episode "Samantha's Protest". After the police chief and his helper brought all of the protesters (including his three daughters and Nell) to the police station, he had to go through the formality of officially arresting them. This included asking each participant his or her name. When he asked Nell her name, she sarcastically said "Mary Tyler Moore"! I just thought that I would mention this incident for the sake of current events discussion.
