I'm sorry you're going through this. Back in August, my 68-year-old dad went into cardiac arrest and we thought we'd lose him. For the first time ever, I actually dealt with the fact that's he's a mortal and it's pretty scary. Luckily, he pulled through and made a full recovery. I hope the same goes for your mother.

So very sorry to hear this about your mom. Please accept my prayers and hopes for a full recovery. It's really awful to have to go through something like this; it's kind of beyond words.
