Default WOMEN MARCHES SEND MESSAGE TO TRUMP

Protesters in the United States and around the world are joining marches TODAY to raise awareness of women's rights and other civil rights they fear could be under threat under Donald Trump's presidency.

The key focus of the day is the Women's March on Washington, which organizers say could attract a quarter of a million.

There are also hundreds of "sister marches" planned around the United States, with some of the biggest expected in Boston, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

And women and men in cities around the world -- including Sydney, Berlin, London, Paris and Cape Town, South Africa -- are also marching in solidarity and in opposition to the values they think Trump represents

Raise awareness of women's rights?

You mean 24 hours a day 7 days a week isn't enough?

If you noticed, there were women, kids and MEN marching. This was NOT
just women's issues, it about rejecting rhetoric of divisivness and embracing
and empowering groups that are often marginalized, whether they're women,
immigrants, people of color, gays, or disabled. They came together as one
voice, to send a message to the current administration. The POWER of the
people is, stronger, than the PEOPLE in power. I think you saw the birth of a
movement today. Some say the "tea party" of the left. I don't know what
it's going be. I don't believe it's going to be one time and, then done! We'll
see more of this. Americans have been semi-comatose for too long, as far
government is concerned, myself included! It's time to wakeup! If you
notice, there was no violence, like yesterday. Only unity. Also, it was
world-wide!!

The Worldwide Woman's March was covered all day, by the major TV networks, and radio. My initial post source was CNN.

Wow, from what I saw, some of those gals were pretty vile, nasty and foul-mouthed. Are we sure they didn't crawl out of the same stagnant bog that Trump supposedly did?

And didn't Madonna tweet some promise to, ah, 'service' male voters in exchange for Hillary votes last November? Or was that some other 'women's' leader from the cesspit of Hollywood? Modern feminism fer ya.

America-2017. The depraved freak-show continues.

Secret Service will investigate Madonna after singer says she wants to blow up White House in rant at women's march

Secret Service will investigate Madonna after singer says she wants to BLOW UP the White House in expletive-filled rant at women's march | 21 Jan 2017 | The Secret Service has reportedly said they will open an investigation into pop singer Madonna after her intense speech at the Women's March on Washington on Saturday afternoon. Donning a black p***yhat, the music icon caused controversy by dropping the F-bomb four times, sparking a slew of apologies from broadcasters airing the protest live. She went on to speak of her rage at the election result, telling the crowd she had thought a lot about 'blowing up the White House' but knew that it 'wouldn't change anything'. According to the Gateway Pundit, a spokesman for the Secret Service said they were 'aware' of Madonna's comments and will open an investigation, but the ultimate decision whether or not to prosecute is the decision of the U.S. Attorney's Office.

We had millions of people come together, yesterday, sending a positive message, worldwide! Unfortunately, you'll always have individuals on the
fringes, that serve as a distraction. But, you, CANNOT help from being
impressed, with the massive message of unity, yesterday! Worldwide!
We cannot let the fringes, distract from the total message. The POWER
of the people is greater than the PEOPLE in power! Don't just complain,
anymore, or just blog about it. Roll up your sleeves, and help change it!
A POWERFUL message was sent yesterday . . . . and believe it, or, not it was

Sounds like 2008 all over again, except you and Hollywood types went to sleep after Obama was elected, then he proceeded to do right wing things like pass Romneycare rather than single payer. So the poor in our country got screwed over worse, but you guys went to sleep because Obama looked pretty and said nice things, but secretly was a Conservative.

No surprise there. To a liberal, the truth is whatever they want it to be. Facts mean nothing.

Yes, he is the president, and I have to accept it. However, I will never support him or like him in any way. I just accept what is.... because I have to.
