The film's poster looks like the pose from The Evil Dead.

Ha, it does. Homage, perhaps?

Also, the 1980 Buster Crabbe horror flick The Alien Dead, totally rips it off...

Unwanted '17 (A young couple happens upon an old house that has been on the market for a long time. Seeing a huge opportunity they jump on purchasing the house only to discover too late why the house remained empty all of those years. Every house has its secrets but some secrets should be left alone.

Much ado about nothing.)

The English Patient 1996

The sweeping expanses of the Sahara are the setting for a passionate love affair in this adaptation of Michael Ondaatje's novel. A badly burned man, Laszlo de Almasy (Ralph Fiennes), is tended to by a nurse, Hana (Juliette Binoche), in an Italian monastery near the end of World War II. His past is revealed through flashbacks involving a married Englishwoman (Kristin Scott Thomas) and his work mapping the African landscape. Hana learns to heal her own scars as she helps the dying man

A total snoozer!!! Very boring except there was a HOT Indian guy in it, which redeemed it quite a bit!!

Cool

I went w/ some friends of mine to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to see Troll 2 (1990) on the big screen.

I've seen this film many times and it never gets old. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

Would love to see that on the big screen with an audience. Did see the first Troll in the theater when it was released.

There actually wasn't much audience participation at my showing since more than half of them had never seen the film before.

The host had asked who the "Troll 2 Virgins" of the crowd were and a lot of people had raised their hands.

Dang, seeing it for the first time on the big screen. Now that's an experience.
