Another did you know fact.

John Larroquette used to be a musician way before he even became an actor. He formed a band with some friends of his and played clarinet and saxophone through childhood and into high school. Later, he became a college radio DJ and decided that music wasn't his thing anymore and found a different muse instead by acting.

MeTV, UP TV, Laff, or Cozi TV, please add Dave's World or The John Larroquette Show to your lineups. Thank you.

PLEASE release a complete series boxset of The John Larroquette Show (and the final season of Dave's World). Thanks.

These were the sons of noblemen or important members of the gentry. In time they came to act as virtual personal secretaries to the King, carrying out a variety of administrative tasks within his private rooms. Despite being the official bum-wiper of the king, the Groom of the Stool had a very high social standing.

The human excrement was then dumped into the moat. Ah..... the good old days!

Anybody want to apply for the job?

In modern times the official title is 'The Monica Lewinsky'.

John Lennon called The Monkees "The Marx Brothers of Music.
The Monkees were good musicians. But the TV show was pretty dumb.

Speaking of The Monkees...

DYK...Mike Nesmith wrote a few songs and this 1967 hit was covered by Linda Ronstadt...

Movie

When they filmed the demolition scene for the movie Caddyshack. A pilot spotted the fireball and radioed in that he saw a plane crash onto the golf course (Rolling Hills Country Club, where they filmed this movie is located under the approach to the Fort Lauderdale International Airport).

Cool DYK

that Mufasa and Scar from Disney's The Lion King are not brothers? Lion King producer Don Hahn revealed this to HelloGiggles in an August 2017 interview while promoting the film's new HD home release.

(Mufasa does refer to Scar as "his brother" and Simba calls him "Uncle Scar" in the film)

He said, "While making the movie we talked about the fact that it was very likely they would not have both the same parents. The way lions operate in the wild, when the male lion gets old, another rogue lion comes and kills the head of the pride. Then the new younger lion kills the king. ... Now he's the new lion that's running the pride.

Occasionally there are prides that do have two male lions, it's an interesting dynamic because they’re not equals. One lion will always kind of be off in the shadows. We were trying to use those animal truths to underpin the story.

Addition of cameras likely to add $40 to $140 to the price of a new car.
Front view cameras would be nice too, mostly for sightseeing. And a lot of cars already have them.

Now for something Christmas related;

DYK... that there was another movie named "Christmas Story" made in Finland 10 years ago, about the origins of Santa Claus.

I saw this on the News today, DYK . . . that Amazon is selling Beardaments?
Beardaments are fun novelty Christmas ornaments to wear as jewelry for beards, on Christmas or New Year’s Day, at an ugly sweater party, to office or social events, or just to bring smiles to all. Silly, but I imagine some will
buy them.

DYK . . that the latest in tattoos, is Hyperealism. Designers are really taking their game to the next level, using their medium to create things like optical illusions and hyper-realistic portraits. Be careful looking at these. Some of them jump right off the skin!

That'd be difficult to live with, I imagine. Especially that giant eye on their forearm or leg. You could never get away from the gaze and that would drive me crazy.
