How about some coleslaw? I don't make/serve coleslaw for Thanksgiving, but I've been a guest before where it was served! It's cool, I like coleslaw!

A big Christmas tradition with Latino people is Tamales ! But sometimes as early as Thanksgiving ,but usually the day after Thanksgiving!

Mexican Tamales

Central American Tamales!! They are SO GOOD! This picture doesn't do it justice!

My mom made coleslaw on Thanksgiving... I'm still gonna miss her, but I may ask my sister if it's okay for me to make a vegetable lasagna (there's turkey, so that defeats some purpose of making a meat lasagna).

Turkey in Vegetable Lasagna, is healthier than beef and it tastes good too!
What else did your mother make for Thanksgiving? I imagine she baked too!

A Cheese Tray is always nice to see on the table!

My mom never made lasagna, but since I'm 12.5% Italian, I hear that Italian-Americans make lasagna on Thanksgiving. I doubt my sister will make lasagna, but I will make a vegetable lasagna for myself if anything.

And for you GEN-Y/Millennials out there...like me...I'll also bring this Nickelodeon Special for us to feast on rather than the Lions getting their butts kicked...

A variety of vegetable dishes is always good. How about grilled artichokes
with a honey glaze.

Another good appetizer for the party...Chex Mix!...

And here's a movie for Thanksgiving...the Steve Martin and John Candy classic Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!...
