It's been very hot today and I had not one but two but three and four power outages and just when we would start to do stuff the lights would always go out. I hope the weather will be great tomorrow

Here in Florida we're bracing for Hurricane Irma. I just got word that Mexico has been hit with an EARTHQUAKE registering 8.2 on the richter scale, and it may have triggered a TSUNAMI. God be with all of them, as well as all of us in Florida.

Here, it's been a rainy, cold and damp past few days. Fall is coming, and summer is unfortunately over.

As for the Tsunami, I'm hearing reports stating they were from 3.3 feet to 3.3 meters (about ten feet) high. I hope it was the former!. As for the hurricane, I'm ready to ROCK AND ROLL! this Saturday night through Monday. Keep praying for all of us, Mexico and Florida.

My teacher friend has family down in Florida, so I am praying that her oldest daughter and grandsons will be alright.

My bags are packed, and I will now be making my way to the shelter. This will be my last post until I return home on Monday (I'm praying it will still be intact). I've done all I can do, so it's off to the shelter. Gob be with be all who are in the path of Irma. The only consolation for me is I'll be a Hurricane ACE! The previous four were Charley, Francis and Jean in 2004 and Matthew last year.
