Our weather is WEIRD!!! It's really HUMID the last couple of days!! Not like the hot, dry summers I'm used to in Southern California!! I mean we could get really hot here, over 90 , even 100 in the summer but the humidity was low and it would be hot no doubt but not like this!! Even below 90 here lately it's TERRIBLE, it's been really humid even rained a little bit yesterday and today! Not characteristic of Southern California at all!!! Global warming???? I really feel like I'm back in Philly and New Jersey lately!! But at least there it would really RAIN and storm which was kind of cool !! Here it just lightly sprinkles a little and it still stays MISERABLE!!! I want our hot, dry weather back!!

^That humidity makes it feel even hotter.

We had some rain early this morning and it's cooled down quite a bit. 80 degrees for August is pretty good, it's usually in the low to mid 90s.

^ We're already seeing people from up north coming into town for the Solar Eclipse and it's still several days away. It's going to be bumper to bumper traffic until it's over with.

I'm vacationing in Maine right now, and it's supposed to rain today because the state is in a drought and rain is much needed.

We've got a nice August weather. Not much to say about it, really.

Bracing for Tropical Storm Harvey. It's expected to become a hurricane when it makes landfall. I really hope it doesn't hit Texas like predicted.

AWFUL n:

Cloudy, unseasonably cool, drizzly. It feels more like June Gloom than Late-August.

August is usually HOT, sunny and humid with glorious looking thunderclouds hovering around are mountains; but not this year.
