Here's hoping your procedure is as simple as possible.

The mail carrier put my mail outside the mailbox. Because it poured down rain all my mail was drenched. I had to let it all dry out. I don't know why it wasn't put inside the mailbox.

Went to see Stevie Nicks last night, she was awesome but the concert experience sucked. First was the horribly uncomfortable seats. The second was the rowdy drunks (who got into a fight behind me and spilled their wine/beer all the place, including me). Third, after sitting on a cement block (my concert seat) for three hours, my body was sore and stiff. The fourth was the HORRIBLE traffic, it took me TWO HOURS to drive 18 miles.

I think I am becoming too old to be an avid concert goer.

I pretty much gave up on concerts long ago. I love music, but I detest crowds. The noise, the rowdiness, not to mention the expense; it's just not worth it to me.

I always think bands sound better on tape/CD/streaming, etc. anyway. LOL

But I am sorry you had such a bad experience.

I love live music and attending concerts. I have probably seen over 300 shows within a four-year span And there are still several shows that I would love to see this year, but since I suffer from chronic pain (bad back) and anxiety, going to concerts is not as fun as it used to be. After this year, I will be slowing down (or retiring completely) from seeing my favorite bands. Oh well, it is fun while it lasted.

It is time for a less stressful hobby

Sorry to hear about the concert experience, Tara. I saw Stevie last November from the second row and it was a great time. Fortunately, I had no issues with the people sitting around me. But like you, I go to a lot of concerts and have had PLENTY of awful experiences due to audience members. It really pisses me off when I look forward to a show for a long time and spend lots (especially these days with ticket prices!) of my hard earned money only to have it interrupted by idiots. I never understood why people get drunk at concerts. Don't you actually want to remember the show that you spent probably hundreds of dollars on?!

I agree. Concerts tickets prices are outrageous, and I spent 75 bucks for the "cheap" seats to Stevie Nicks She was worth it (because I am a huge fan) but it was not worth getting splashed by some drunk's beer or wine, or sitting on a cement block for a seat when you suffer from chronic back problems.

There needs to be a law against stranding people like students when they have to be picked up, allowing people to be bullied instead of writing it up or calling the police, providing bad food at places like schools and not having any other food during the summer time. Rather people like it or not. There also needs to be a law against being mean to students even if they are in Special Education.

Unhappy

I found out that a thrift store I visited pretty frequently in Downtown Brooklyn, Housing Works, closed earlier this month after the owner sold the building.

Here are some of the neat items I bought from there over the years:

Mad Men: Season 1 DVD (Limited Edition Zippo)

Gojira DVD

Of Muppets and Men Book

I Want My MTV Book

The Hunger Games Trilogy Book Box Set

Aerosmith: Pandora's Box Cassette Box Set
