My heartfelt thanks to all of you for your kind sentiments and lovely words for the loss of my cat Lily. When grief has hold of your heart, it helps a great deal when people acknowledge your loss by offering sympathetic words.

At almost a month gone, I still miss her terribly, but I know the deal with grief and that time is the big healer. She was just so special.

Janice, you are very welcome

You're welcome Janice. My thoughts are with you. Lily was sweet. Cesar is sweet too. You have great taste in pets.

I don't like the heat or the cold.

On Sunday, my dog died. His name was Cinnamon and he was about 12 or so years old. It's been tough, because I always keep thinking when I go outside to his spots that I'll see him. But I don't He was old and suffering, so it was for the best that he stopped suffering, but I'll always miss him.

New complaint;

Photobucket is killing a lot of pictures, including many decent ones that are posted here.

My deepest condolences, Sven. Remember the rainbow bridge; I really believe in it, and I can tell from your post that you were a great owner and friend to Cinnamon.

Sven, really sorry to hear about your dog

Janice, also really sorry to hear about your cat.

Pets are as much a part of the family as the humans, it's never easy to lose any of them.

My bank card isn't working!

I tried to buy something, but my card didn't read. I tried three times with the chip then twice by swiping...so I left the store without buying anything!

What the **** is wrong with my card? And last Tuesday, I went to a Dollar Bank branch to cash-in a check and it took like forever since they needed the manager...I'll never go to that bank branch again!

Got a call from my daughter. She'd heard a bunch of police sirens in the area, but where our house is located you can't see the roads. Then about 20 mins later she got a call on the phone from the police recommending people stay in their homes until further notice.

That is terrifying! I wonder what's going on?

Last night about 3/3:30 in the morning, my Mom and I discovered that there was a bat loose and flying around. A common brown bat, but still, it freaked us out and we don't know what to do. For all we know, though right now, it could have just disappeared.
