Danny Valencia! Three homers today for the A's vs. the Rays, the third one being a two run blast in the 9th inning to propel the A's to a 7-6 win. This was a big series for Valencia, he hit two homers in Friday's game so he had five homers total in the three game series.

A's head home now where they have to start playing better, they've been a better road team so far this year compared to at home.

The big news in Yankees land is they had a 7-3 home stand to crawl to 4 games under .500. Dare to dream.

Any Cubs fan and or baseball fan that blames Steve Bartman for the Cubs loss in the 2003 NLCS obviously not paying attention that Alex Gonzales muffed a double play ball the next play after the Bartman incident that cost the Cubs the loss in Game 6. I've been arguing this fact for years!!!

Yankees vs. A's, four game series in Oakland starting on Thursday. Yanks will be seeking revenge because the A's swept em in New York recently.

Yup. Lots of people around here don't like the west coast (night) games, because they usually go past 1AM ET, but I tend to stay up late, so they never really bothered me.

I'm in the east time zone also. Whether it's hockey or baseball, I enjoy watching the late night games from the west coast. I'm not working right now, I can afford to stay home so being up late isn't a problem. I'm glad I don't have to be awake early in the morning to get ready and go work at some crappy job that I dislike, I did that for 30 years. I wouldn't mind having a work from home job, something like that would be ideal for me, but work at home jobs are difficult to find.

I always remember as a kid listening to Cubs games when they played on the west coast either playing the Dodgers or Giants with the radio on low so my parents wouldn't hear it. That's until a Cub hit into a double play or something then I'd yell and there went the radio..lol

I am a little bit...

I feel that the Cleveland Indians are starting to return to the 90's-ish campaign.

Now it was Khris Davis turn to have a three homer game for the A's! Third one being a grand slam blast in the bottom of the 9th for an 8-5 win. That was quite a game, A's gave up the lead in the top of the 9th, but Davis 4 run blast in the bottom of the inning won the game in walk off style. Doesn't get more exciting than that.
