Daylight Savings suck. I mean there is no reason why it has to be dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. I consider that afternoon and getting dark early makes for a long night.

Interesting way of phrasing it. Actually, daylight savings time is now ending, not starting. You're complaining that it has to be dark at 4:30 in the afternoon but that's the real time. Daylight savings time is what's artificial. We are now on standard time.

What's strange is that we're only on real time 4 months of the year and "artificial" time 8 months of the year. So when daylight savings time ends it seems wrong or out of the ordinary even though it's how things are supposed to be.

Daylight Savings Time was extended in 2005 to save energy.
