Anyone here a fan of Magnum P I? It still on tv in reruns on A&E. I think it was one of the best shows that came out of the 80s.

We also need more channels to air the show. I can't seem to find it anywhere these days.

I found this on this web about a Magnum, P.I. movie.
Ricky Gervais, star of the Brit comedy "The Office", has announced that he's just turned down a lead role in the film version of "Magnum P.I". According to WENN, the comic wasn't interested in the green stuff, and gave the thumbs down to the offer. Gervais - who has also turned down movie roles in "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" and "The Merchant of Venice" - was asked to play the role of Thomas Magnum's English butler Higgins in the film. "The money being offered was criminal. But I am not interested in money. I'm interested in doing something I am proud of. Money gives me the creeps. I hate it when people print how much I'm getting paid. It's not guilt. It's embarrassing enough being an actor for a living - it's a worthless, pointless job. But when people know you earn a thousand times what a nurse earns it's f**king embarrassing. I am not proud of my earnings. I'm proud of my work. I've probably turned down £10 million." George Clooney - put the pitch fork down Selleck fan! - is said to be taking over from the man-with-the-mo as Magnum. In the film, Magnum's now rumoured to be a Gulf War veteran as opposed to a Vietnam vet. Will Ferrell is the hot fave to play the role of Rick in the film, whilst LL Cool J is rumoured to have scored the role of helicopter pilot, TC Calvin. Hang On, still got that pitchfork dude? No one can play Magnum but Selleck! No One! The Protest starts here. I don't know I love my original Magnum boys. |

I'm not crazy about a Magnum movie at all. Ya just can't beat Tom Selleck and co.
