I know!!! He really was a funny guy!!! I was reading on Wiki that his wife was saying he was a very nice, sensitive mild mannered man, and he sometimes got upset because people just thought of him as his stage persona ( which I personally still thought was nice) ! I am looking into ordering his autobiography from Amazon "It's not easy being me"

copy and paste from Wiki

Dangerfield resented being confused with his on-stage persona. Although his wife Joan described him as "classy, gentlemanly, sensitive and intelligent,"[26] he was often treated like the loser he played.

I miss a lot of people. So many it would fill book of all show business people. I am sure some people would like to see Harold Lloyd and actors from the real early years. They had talent too.

John Candy - Love and appreciate him always, but think of him more this time of the year because of "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" and his cameo in "Home Alone."
