I know that Joseph C. Phillips joined the cast in the 6th season to play the part of Denises husband Martin, but was he in an earlier episode as a different character? I just saw the episode where Sondra went on a date with a guy named Daryl and it seemed like Joseph C. Phillips was the actor playing Daryl. Does anyone know if that was him? I didn't see the closing credits. Anyway, that's weird how sitcoms get the same person to play two different characters.

Yep you are correct. Joesph C. Phillips did play Daryl.
